Hari Aum!

It was my first visit to SISS. Though SISS stands for Satyavrat Institute of Subjective Sciences, I would like to add, it is also the Seat of Integrated Spiritual Success. I consider myself fortunate to get an opportunity to visit the Ashram Institute. The moment I stepped into the campus of SISS, I felt the aura of pure divinity and tranquility. The place is an oasis in the midst of the Industrial Area, full of greenery and having a huge variety of trees, fruits and flowering plants.

The occasion for the visit was truly divine! What better way to celebrate Sree Adi Shankaracharya’s Jayanti than in Sadguru Sharanam with Maa and all seekers. The celebration as expected was truly grand and divine with Guru Paaduka Puja in true Vedic style and with perfect chanting of Sanskrit mantras. Ramnathji from Dubai, Shikhaji from Aurangabad and Yadavji from Noida performed the Puja under the guidance of Maa. The USB on ‘Saadhan Panchkam’ was released and offered by Arunaji and Nangiaji in the Raajopchaar during the Puja. I could really feel the bliss and found myself getting soaked in the divinity. One can really experience the Grace of Sree Guru Parampara and the peace at Guru’s “Sharan”.

The darshan of Sree Ishwara (Trinity) and arati at Sree Ishwara Darshan Temple in the evening was truly exhilarating.

The Spiritual Retreat on Sree Geeta Mahayantra that followed the next three days was very insightful and thought-provoking. Sree Geeta Mahayantra encapsulated the essence of the entire Sreemad Bhagwad Geeta in four steps for integrated development and synchronized approach to success. The Yantra, conceived by Maa and prepared by Manishji, wonderfully and lucidly explained the importance of synchronizing Karma Yoga, Dhyaan Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Gnyaan Yoga with special emphasis on Brahman the Self, the constant factor around which all the four rotate. The entire essence of Sreemad Bhagwad Geeta is “Mama Dharma”, my Essential Duty. Our aim in life should always be to tread the path of Righteousness as it is changeless. All other things are ‘Mithya‘. We should have unflinching and unwavering faith in the Divine as in absence of faith, all efforts are false and futile. Faith in Shastras and Guru Parampara is the fundamental requirement for self-integration and evolution. One cannot succeed with any one Yog without integrating the other three Yogs.

In the company of Maa and Her divine teachings, I lost track of time, and four days just flew by. We also enjoyed the gastronomical delight from Breakfast to Lunch to Dinner Prasad. Every meal partaken at Annakshetra (SISS), was more refreshing and invigorating than from our mundane world as it was taken at the Holy Feet of Maa Annapurna Devi.

It was a delight to watch everyone get absorbed in the beautiful music of Bhajans & Kirtans in the evening followed by Arati at the temple.

We were blessed to listen to Gurudev's Daily Messages, so insightful and inspiring, and perform Sree Guru Paad Puja at the Holy feet of Maa. We also celebrated birthdays of several devotees marked in the same month. They expressed that it was indeed the most memorable moment of the year for them.

On the last day the chanting of Shikshaavalli from Taittereya Upanishad made us realize the sacred duties of a Shishya. The participants sincerely expressed their gratitude to this holy place of learning before departing.

I left the blissful environment of SISS with beautiful thoughts of the sublime experience in the lap of Mother Purnanandaji. By the Grace of Sree Guru Parampara, I hope to come again and again with family and more devotees, to this Vaikunth on Earth - SISS and learn to evolve.

Kind Regards
